Joe Murphy's 21st Birthday Fund Raising Event
Joe, who served with 2 Rifles, was killed on 10th July 2009 by an ied explosion as he was trying to carry an injured soldier to safety.
The Black Tie dinner will be held at Aston Villa Football Ground on 25 February 2012 at 7.00 pm. Three course meal and entertainment. £50 per ticket.

Discus Systems would like to invite you to a Charity Golf Day to raise awareness and support for Troop Aid. Play as a company or individually. Followed by an evening of entertainment. All to support our Injured Troops.

Afternoon golf round of 18 holes.
Mini competitions such as nearest the pin and longest drive.

Birmingham Society of Model Engineers Gala Day
Commencing at 1.00pm. Entrance to Car Park at Warings Green Road, Solihull, West Midlands, B94 6BP (close to Blue Bell Inn)

Ride 4 the Wounded: Raising funds for Troop Aid and Pilgrim Bandits Charity
The bike and sidecar will be making its way from John O'Goats to Land's End. It will be ridden by wounded soldiers to raise funds for others that have been injured. Money raised will be shared between Troop Aid and Pilgrim Bandits charity. A number of events have been organised along the route to raise much needed funds. The bike will be escorted for stages of the journey by supporters on bikes including the Mum of a seriously injured soldier.
Sponsors of the event include The National Motorcycle Museum and Best Western Hotels.
The proposed route
John O'Groats, Helmsdale/Port Gower, Inverness, Pitlochry, Dunfermline,Selkirk, Newcastle, York, Doncaster, Kegworth, Allesley, Birmingham, Swindon, Wells, Tiverton, Lostwithiel, Lands End and Falmouth.
This is a big challenge for our injured service personnel so please show them your support by making a donation.
